The economic price of fuel is not determined by Pertamina, but by the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

This price reflects the true economic value of fuel, taking into account global crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate, production and distribution costs, as well as government policies and subsidy mechanisms.
